Julia Kotowski opened the meeting. All PTA executive Board members are present.
Mr. Beugoms gave the Principal’s Address
· Mr. B thanked the PTA for their work with the Winter Auction.
· Chancellor wants to make sure that schools are ready for inclement weather. That will be a remote learning day. All students need to have a device.
· Students need to bring in their DOE devices on January 6th for inventory. Make sure devices are charged.
· Mr. B wants to make sure that on snow days all devices are ready for learning, Not a Tech Support Day,
· Next week is Marquis Dance performance.
· School tours are happening every month. Families can look on our website for dates.
· Disney is back. Information session on the 20th for 4th and 5th grade parents.
· Kindergarten registration is happening. All Pre-K families have to register again,
· BRIC animation program happening on Fridays.
· Congratulations to the Debate Team.
Winter Auction:
· We raised over $29,000.
· Thank you to all the parents that helped.
· Thank you to the teacher and staff that donated experiences.
· Auction winners can pick up the items on Friday before and after school. Digital items will be emailed to you.
Debate Team:

Merch Update:
· Items will be sent out in backpacks this week,
Pajama Day
· Half of the money will be donated to North Brooklyn Angels.
Treasurer Report:
· Brian shared the monthly Treasurer Report
New Business:
· Coming up in the new year: School Movie Night (January/February) Art Party (March/April)
Upcoming Events
· Collecting Donations for the Winter Auction until November 28th
· Winter Auction runs December 2nd- 11th. There will be a website that we will use for the auction.
· Pajama Day with a 50/50 fundraiser. Tuesday December 6th.
Committees:
· Gardening: We got a lot of bulbs in with the Harvest Party. We have some compost that needs to be sorted. Starting to plan for the Spring.
· Fundraising Committee: Thank you to everyone that participated. You will be contacted by email from the PTA to learn about your experiences or digital gifts. Looking for help writing Thank You cards for the businesses that donated. We will be looking for people to help solicit donations for the Art Party and help with the organizing the actual event. We will also be having Read-a-thon in March.
· Dual Language Committee: There is a Google form to petition for Polish Language in Middle School.
· Wellness Committee: Will be meeting this Thursday with Mr. B and Ms. Michelle.
Updates from Parent Coordinator:
· Thank you for parents who participated in Read Aloud.
· Dance performances Monday December 19th for pre-K and K.
· Self Care Workshop on January 11th 9:30 am
· Adult Career Information Session Wednesday January 25th 9:30 am.
· Family Night: Disney on Ice January 20th.
· If you need a device fill out a request form. Bring your devices for inventory on January 6th,
· NYC Schools Account: Make sure that you have activated your school account. You can see grades, test scores, take virtual parent classes, and access Support Hub for your DOE issued device. This account will travel with you all the way through high school.

· Deadline for Kindergarten application is January 20th.
