Lisa Liss opened the meeting.  All executive board members were present.

Mr. Beugoms gave the Principal’s address. 

  • Art & Music show might be remote

  • No after-school this Friday

  • PS34 placed 2nd in district debate

  • Kindergarten enrollment

Lisa Liss discussed:

  • Sunday Social was a success, hope to have more in warmer weather

  • Mr. Wei is retiring.

  • Debate placed 2nd in the District tournament

  • Merchanside update - remaining orders being sent on Friday.

  • Class parents: Still seeking for Pre-104, 1-202, 3-201, 5-211

  • Fundraiser report: Chipotle $425, Pajama Day $104

New business

  • Kathy Szwarc announced an upcoming curriculum forum. Date tbd. 

  • PS34 Family business spotlight - seeking participants

  • Upcoming virtual school tour on Dec 17th. Pre-k needs to reapply for Kindergarten spot. 

  • Guest speaker: Mr Vlesmas - music teacher - talked about program goals. 

  • Mr B mentioned how parents can help support this program by grant writing, extra funds. Email him: evlesmas@schools.nyc.gov
